High School Confirmation
The Mission of Presentation Youth Ministry is to create an environment that leads high school teenagers into a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and His Church, and to call teenagers to leadership, service and commitment to a life in Christ.
FORMATION FOR TEENAGERS
Through our High School Confirmation program, teenagers go through sacramental preparation for those who are to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and receive Baptism, Confirmation and the Sacrament of First Eucharist. Teen Ministry is designed to give teenagers the tools necessary to be strong Catholics in the secular world.
"YG 252" - YOUTH GROUP
A safe, welcoming, and fun weekly gathering for teens (between the ages of 13 and 17). Our new High School Youth Group, here at Presentation, has chosen “252” as the name for our group because of the Bible verse “Luke 2:52,” which describes the teenage years of Jesus. Parents: The Primary Catechists
Parents are truly the primary catechists of their children. They prepare the soil and plant the first seeds of faith. On Catechetical Sunday, we not only highlight the work of catechists in parishes and schools, but we also commend parents and guardians and encourage them to take seriously their role of making their Catholic households a place where faith is passed on to the next generation. This is why the rite of blessing of catechists used on Catechetical Sunday includes an optional blessing of parents and guardians.
