Youth Ministry

The Mission of Presentation Youth Ministry is to create an environment that leads high school teenagers into a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and His Church, and to call teenagers to leadership, service and commitment to a life in Christ.

"YG 252" - YOUTH GROUP

A safe, welcoming, and fun weekly gathering for teens (between the ages of 13 and 17). Our new High School Youth Group, here at Presentation, has chosen “252” as the name for our group because of the Bible verse “Luke 2:52,” which describes the teenage years of Jesus. Our Youth Group is designed to give teenagers the tools necessary to be strong Catholics in the secular world. The program is full of fun activities for practicing our faith.

FORMATION FOR TEENAGERS

Through our High School Confirmation program, teenagers go through sacramental preparation for those who are to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and receive Baptism, Confirmation and the Sacrament of First Eucharist. Teen Ministry is designed to give teenagers the tools necessary to be strong Catholics in the secular world. Our program to receive the sacrament of Confirmation is a 3-year program. About Our Program

Our Goals:

To expose students to basic Catholic Doctrine, Prayer, and Scripture.
To assist in spiritual growth.
To encourage students to live their faith.
To promote the Sacred Tradition, Scripture, and Doctrines of the Catholic Faith.
To deepen students understanding of the Sacraments.
To prepare and encourage students to receive frequent Reconciliation (Confession) and Communion.
To live a life dedicated in service of God, the Parish, and the Community.
To help students to discern their vocation in life. (Priesthood, Religious Life, Marriage, Single Life)

We need volunteers!
